Our Goal
School Construction
Martha’s Love is embarking on its most ambitious project to date: the construction of the Martha Garkpi Community School in Garkpi Village, Tappita, Nimba County, Liberia. The school will cater to students from kindergarten to 8th grade and will play a crucial role in providing a strong educational foundation for young minds to flourish.
The Martha Garkpi Community School embodies the core values and mission of Martha’s Love. By offering accessible education to children in the region, we aim to break down barriers and create pathways for personal and community development. Our innovative approach recognizes the diverse aspirations of students, providing tailored educational experiences to meet their unique needs and goals.
The Martha Garkpi Community School aims to offer several education pathways: Foundational Education, Secondary Education, and Vocational Training. Foundational Education: Our curriculum from kindergarten to 8th grade is designed to build a robust educational foundation, promoting critical thinking, creativity, and a passion for learning.
Secondary Education: For students interested in pursuing secondary education, we have established a partnership with St. Francis High School, a nearby Catholic high school, to ensure a smooth transition upon graduation. Vocational Training: We recognize the importance of practical skills in today’s world. The Martha Garkpi Community School will offer vocational classes, enabling individuals to acquire trades and skills that empower them to build sustainable futures.
The Martha Garkpi Community School aims to be a beacon of hope for the youth in Garkpi Village and the surrounding towns. By providing quality education regardless of economic circumstances, we aim to break barriers and provide opportunities for those facing challenges in attending school. Our school is more than just a place of learning; it is a gateway to empowerment, fostering personal and community development.
The initial estimated amount needed to kickstart the school project is $100,000.00. Once the financial support begins, the building construction will commence immediately. The school is expected to have 10 fully equipped classrooms to provide a conducive learning environment for kindergarten to 8th-grade students.
Your support is crucial to the success of this project. By contributing to the effort, you can help us provide quality education to children in need and make a lasting impact on their lives. Together, we can build a brighter future for the youth in Garkpi Village.
